Ingredients :
- 250 gms small prawns ( cocktail , if larger chop before mixing with achaar masala )
- 50 Gms Garlic
- 50 Gms Ginger
- 6 kashmiri whole chillies
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 Tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 Tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 Tsp Hing powder
- 4 Tbsp vinegar
- some curry leaves
- salt
- 2 Tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
Method :
- Clean and wash prawns
- Add 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 Tsp salt and leave aside for 30 mins
- grind together garlic, ginger, tomatoes, chillies with 2 Tbsp vinegar
- Heat pan with 2 Tbsp oil, fry the prawns till cooked ands remove on a plate
- In the same Pan , add another 2 Tbsp Oil , add mustard seeds , fenugreek seeds , hing, when it splutters , add the mixture that is ground
- FRy for 3-5 mins , add salt , 2 Tsp red chilli powder and the rest of the vinegar
