Ingredients
- Ponni Rice - 1 Cup
- Tomatoes medium size - 6
- Green Chilli - 3 Nos Slit
- Onion Small - 1 piece Chopped lengthwise
- Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric - 1 tsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Curry Leaves - 1 spring
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Cook the Rice and spread over the plate.
- Boil the tomatoes in the pressure cooker and peel off and keep it aside.
- Heat the Oil in the Pan and add mustard seeds.
- When spluttering add Onions, fry until raw smell goes off.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and tomatoes.
- Keep stirring.
- Now mix with the rice and stir well to evaporate water if any.
